ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman says he has little sympathy for Bournemouth’s ongoing financial problems – because his own club’s worries are more significant.

Bournemouth are currently under a similar transfer embargo to Stanley, restricting them to 20 senior players.

But the Cherries were recently given dispensation to bring in Anthony Edgar on loan after injuries left them with only 14 fit players – one of whom was assistant boss Jason Tindall, who has had to come out of retirement.

And Coleman believes Bournemouth, the surprise leaders of League Two after narrowly avoiding relegation last season, were operating with a far greater budget in any case.

He said: “They’ve got a similar problem in that they’ve got an embargo.

"But if you compare their wage bill for their squad of 20, our wage bill for our squad of 20 pales into insignificance so I wouldn’t be feeling too sorry for them.”
