CLITHEROE were left cursing their luck as they failed to convert their early chances and were left chasing the game after Ashton’s quick double strike.
The Blues had a promising start but suffered a double blow when Philip Edghill put their home side in front on 23 minutes and Andrew Lundy added a second just six minutes later.
The Blues pulled a goal back thanks to Alex Brees’ close range effort on 54 minutes but Curzon sealed victory thanks to a Michael Norton strike on 64 minutes before Edghill netted his second 13 minutes from time.
