BURNLEY captain Steven Caldwell has had to withdraw from the Scotland squad for their crucial qualifiers against Macedonia and the Netherlands because of a groin problem.
Caldwell sustained the injury in Scotland's qualifier against Norway last month and was always expected to pull out of the latest squad after not being able to appear for the Clarets in any of their first five games of the season.
