Burnley captain Steven Caldwell is a major doubt for the Premier League opener at Stoke.
The central defender injured his groin during Scotland's 4-0 defeat against Norway last night. He was taken off after 47 minutes, and is struggling to make Saturday's match, manager Owen Coyle said today.
