ROVERS suffered their first defeat of pre-season in their second 45 minute game of the night - to finish bottom of the triangular tournament in Croatia.
After tonight's earlier 0-0 draw with Nacional, Rovers suffered at the hands of a fitter Split side - with the Croatian league set to start in just seven days time.
Bosnian international Senijad Ibricic scored the deflected winner past Paul Robinson on 12 minutes, although Keith Andrews' header almost rescued a draw at the death.
Rovers return to Brockhall tomorrow before their friendly campaign continues with a trip to Leeds United on Saturday.
