A DARTS competition in memory of one of East Lancashire’s most popular players takes place next month.
The Les Gibson Memorial Trophy will be held Stanley Street WMC, Accrington on Saturday, August 8.
Les sadly past away last May but the success of a first tournament in his name proved to be so successful that organisers decided to make it an annual event.
Les was one of the finest players in East Lancashire and organisers are hoping the area’s top players once again turn out in support.
Prize money includes £200 for the winner, £100 runner-up, £50 losing semi finalists, £50 losing quarter finalists and £50 for the highest check-out.
Registration is from 12.30pm and entry fee is £5.
