ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman has been nominated for the Coca Cola League Two manager of the month award for March.

It is the first time that 46-year-old Coleman has ever been shortlisted for the award - although he faces stiff competition from Chesterfield boss Lee Richardson, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, and Mark Robins of Rotherham United.

The Liverpudlian made the four-man list after easing Stanley's relegation fears last month with four wins and two draws from seven League Two outings, which proved to be the club's best run of form in the Football League since April 1958.

The winner will be announced live on Sky Sports News at 1.20pm tomorrow.
