CLITHEROE boss Neil Reynolds plans to add a new signing to his in-form squad ahead of tommorow’s FA Cup clash with Leek Town at Shawbridge.
Reynolds was hoping to complete a deal for the left-sided player, who has been with a Conference North club, last night and provided there are no last-minute hitches, he will be eligible for the first qualifying round tie.
The Blues are awaiting news of the scan on Gary Stopforth’s knee injury and Barry Shuttleworth is not yet ready for a first-team re-call but Reynolds otherwise has a full strength squad to select from as the Blues look to make it seven-up.
“Confidence is high after six straight wins and we want to keep that going by getting into the next round,” said Reynolds, who has guided Clitheroe to joint top spot in the UniBond League First Division North.
