Lancashire have released Australia batsman Brad Hodge from the remainder of his contract for personal reasons.
Hodge has requested to stay in Australia to look after his wife Meg – who has been ill for a long period – and son.
Former New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent, who has been deputising for the 33-year-old, will remain with the club for the rest of the season.
