Nathan Dlamini has joined West Brom after rejecting a contract offer from Blackburn Rovers.
The young winger made his debut for Rovers under Valerien Ismael, making five appearances across the Championship and FA Cup.
Blackburn offered Dlamini a new deal in the summer but since then, there had been no updates. West Brom have now confirmed he has signed a two-year deal at the Hawthorns.
Dlamini's return to the Midlands is something of a homecoming. He spent time in the youth system at Walsall and Aston Villa previously, before joining Rovers on a scholarship in 2023.
Speaking after signing for the club, Nathan said: "I'm very excited to get started here. It's a big club, so to be able to represent this team is a good feeling.
"I grew up 15 minutes away in Darlaston, so I've always known a lot about the club. I've played against my new teammates a lot in the past few years.
"It's a great move for me. It feels like a happy place and everyone's excited about the new season.
"I'd describe myself as an exciting player who likes to take people on. I can play on either wing, I'm quick, explosive and I want to show people what I'm about.
"I think there's a pathway here, a good platform, and I want to come here and kickstart my professional career. I had a taste of it last season at Blackburn and now I want it more consistently."
Rovers have continued their recruitment drive for the Academy, signing Theo Chimpango and Josh Ubah as first-year scholars for the Under-18s.
The two 16-year-olds sign from Manchester City and Newcastle United, respectively.
