Dom Hyam and Balazs Toth have been called up by Scotland and Hungary, respectively, for the upcoming international matches.

Hyam was first part of the Scotland camp in March 2023 for Euro 2024 qualifiers. However, he hasn't been selected by Steve Clarke in the last two calendar years.

However, his form for Rovers has not gone unnoticed and he'll be part of the squad for fixtures against Denmark and Belarus, which both take place next month.

First up is a trip to Copenhagen to tackle the Danes on Friday 5th September, kick-off 7.45pm at the Parken Stadium.

Just three days later and the Tartan Army will be in Belarus for a FIFA World Cup qualifier at the ZTE Arena in Zalaegerszeg on Monday 8th September.

Similarly, Hungary have once again called up Toth. The goalkeeper made his debut for his country in June's friendlies and now that he's firmly established as Rovers' number one, there was little doubt he'd be included again.

He will be hoping to add to his one cap in meetings against the Republic of Ireland and Portugal.

He’ll take on the Irish on Saturday 6th September in the Group F encounter, with the contest taking place at the Aviva Stadium and available to be watched live on Amazon Prime.

Just three days later, the 27-year-old will hope to feature when Marco Rossi’s men host Portugal at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. It's a 7:45pm kick-off on Tuesday 9th September, with the match again available on Amazon Prime.

Kristi Montgomery has been also called up to the Scotland Under-21s for their European Championship qualifiers. He will hope to earn his first cap for his country at a higher age year in their upcoming games against the Czech Republic and Portugal.
