Sean McLoughlin enjoyed the perfect return to former club Hull City after Blackburn Rovers secured a first win and clean sheet of the season.
The defender said goodbye to Humberside after six years but returned to the MKM Stadium victorious after a comfortable 3-0 win for Rovers. It also marked their first shutout of the campaign making it a fantastic afternoon.
It was a strange experience for McLoughlin, so used to being part of the home team at Hull. He's hopeful that Rovers' first victory can help them build momentum and ease the pressure.
"It's been pretty perfect, I would have liked to have scored, that would be the perfect script," McLoughlin joked.

"It was a bit strange, driving into the stadium and going into the away dressing room. I'd never been in there before. I had a great six, seven years here.
"I've seen some familiar faces today, which is nice. But ultimately, we had a job to do today, coming here and winning and thankfully we did that.
"Once you get the first win, you know, the pressure's off. We'll just try and build on it, go into the Norwich game, hoping for another good result and put some sort of a run together.
"Everybody's looking for the first win, first clean sheet. I think to get on board here is brilliant. It's definitely something to build on now."
McLoughlin has started every Championship game for Valerien Ismael's side so far. For 500K, he has proven to be a shrewd addition in the early weeks of his Rovers career.
"I've enjoyed them loads. It's been brilliant. Everybody's been great with me, the manager and coaches," he said on the start of his time at Ewood Park.
"I'm just enjoying my chance to play. Obviously, I'm trying to bring a lot to the team, my qualities to the team in the dressing room as well.
"It's been nice to play. I'm grateful that the manager picked me to start the few games. Obviously, there's massive competition as well, Scott is pushing for a start, it's healthy competition.
"We're all trying to be on the pitch, you know, come three o'clock on a Saturday."
