Blackburn Rovers are still working to sign a right-winger but are no closer to adding to their squad, Valerien Ismael confirmed.
The head coach has been clear that Rovers want to add senior competition out wide but have been unable to find the right solution so far.
Ismael has stated that a right-winger will be their last piece of business unless there are departures. Lewis Travis' future is incredibly uncertain and could force them to replace him.
This summer has become a bigger transition than expected and Ismael admitted it's something the club wanted to avoid.

"For sure, we are not finished on the transfer marked as well," Ismael told The Lancashire Telegraph.
"We are not close but we keep chasing, keep talking to try and find the right profile. It takes time, as usual, it's not ideal but it is what it is. We have to deal with the timing.
"We want to add the missing pieces and we will go from there. It will take time to get all the ingredients that we want, to get the clear picture we expected.
"It's a transition situation which we wanted to avoid. We still have work to do, it's not a secret, we're working behind the scenes to get some situations done.
"At the same time, we are now in transition. It's clear we have a lot of new faces and now it's up to the new players to adapt, to integrate themselves. Some players are already integrated, some players need a little bit longer. So this is a normal process now in those situations."
The Rovers boss has admitted preparations for the new season haven't been ideal in the last three weeks. After the week-long training camp in Spain, Ismael was very happy with where his were at.
Since then, they've lost Callum Brittain and are expected to sell Travis. There have also been injuries and new signings which have been forced into the deep end as a result of absences.
The Rovers boss admitted that may have been reflected in their opening two performances.
"I think maybe there is a connection there because we know how the group reacts," he conceded.
"They need to feel free on the pitch. It was the feeling throughout the pre-season until after Spain. After that, things changed differently. As I said, it's a transition. You have new players; they need to adapt.
"The new players just came in and had to play. It was not necessarily what we wanted, but they had to play. We have to help then and stay calm. The Championship is a long run.
"We need to get the rhythm to sort out the situation we've got. To get everyone on the same level. At some point, we will find our rhythm.
"Every game is a chance to get three points. The sooner, the better for us. It's the best thing to do to cement the relationship between the players and to create that momentum."
