A very wet weekend saw one game abandoned as the other 4four were Duckworth Lewis affected in the Anthony Axford North West Cricket League Conference Premiership.
Barrowford 1sts hosted Little Lever which saw the home side score 209-5 off just 25 overs with Imran Karim (61) and Aziz Iqbal (57) top-scoring with half-centuries, which was complemented with a quick 45 from Ather Waheed. In reply, Little Lever were bowled out for 101 as Muhammed Raheel took 4-24.
Burnley Belvedere 2nds against Padiham was called off after just five overs - both teams took five points.
Farnworth Social Circle welcomed Cherry Tree which saw the hosts being dismissed for 176 as Grant Mason-Platt top-scored with 58 as Dan Lord (5-39) and Matthew Hodson (4-23) shared the lions share of the wickets. Cherry Tree then won the game, six wickets down with large thanks to a fantastic 89 from Dan Lord. Marsden Mulligan took 4-50.
Feniscowles 1sts suffered another defeat as they hosted Walkden. Walkden scored 179-7 off 35 overs with former Farnworth player, Aaqib Javed top-scoring with 71. Feniscowles could only make 120-8 in reply.
Salesbury secured victory at home against Read as the visitors scored 136-5 off 30 overs with Elliot Lowes top-scoring with 48. Requiring 144 from 30 overs, Salesbury managed to win the game by 3 wickets with thanks to an unbeaten 61 from Jack Stones.
Ribblesdale Wanderers remain top of the second division with 122 points from 11 matches. On Saturday 7-23 for Graeme Kershaw and 3-17 for Travis Blezard saw Oswaldtwistle Immanuel dismissed for 40. [[Wanderers]] saw this off without loss, Mackenzie Burgess making 37 out of their 42.
Burnley Belvedere are second on 117 having played one game more. On Saturday they bowled Brinscall out for 118, Muhammad Yahya 4-24 and Muhammad Zakria 3-11. Sajan Muthanna took 4-20 as Beldevere won by four wickets.
Third are Foulridge with 111 from twelve. Umar Farooq (5-46) and Abrar Sarwar (3-20) helped dismiss Barnoldswick for 126, which Foulridge overtook for the loss of five wickets, despite a mid innings wobble which saw them losing three wickets with the score on 52.
A half century for Stephen Kaye steered Lostock to 158-6, with Ubaid Ullah taking 4-36. An unbeaten 127 run partnership between Saubaan Khan (83) and Krish Patel (54) then saw Astley Bridge home for the loss of two wickets.
Blackrod’s 141-4 was surpassed by Baxenden for the loss of the same number of wickets, Tim Drugan hitting a half century.
Eagley lead the third division with 121 points from 12. Three wickets for 16 from Sam Hall helped them restrict Feniscowles seconds to 136-9, then 61 not out from Bobby Lord rescued them from a slightly precarious 60-4 to steer them to a five wicket win.
Kearsley move into second place with 103 points. Abdul Waquas’ 63 provided just over half Barrowford seconds runs, with Ayyan Mehmood 5-22. Abdul Imitaz then struck 54 not out in a six wicket win.
Defeat for Whalley saw them drop a place, two points behind Kearsley. Atherton recovered from 95-8 to post 133, Aman Singh 5-45 and Ewan McDonald 4-29, however three wickets apiece for Ian Nuttall and Farooq Shah limited Whalley to 107-9.
From 111-8 Foulridge seconds recovered to reach 269-9, with Tom Johnson (79) and Jacob Springthorpe (54) contributing a century partnership for the last wicket. Earlier in the innings Jason Lockley had taken 5-47. At one point Earby were 107-1, with Declan Harrison 62, but they ended the game 180 all out.
Connor Thomson with 60 and Muhammad Ryan 50 assisted Tonge to 171-8, Jack Ashton with 3-32 for Chatburn who were then dismissed for 49, Abdulrehman Ahmed 3-11 and Harry Naylor 3-13.
