Blackburn Rovers have confirmed the signing of Ryan Alebiosu on a permanent transfer from Belgian club Kortrijk.
The 23-year-old right-back completed a medical on Thursday and has penned a three-year deal with the option of another 12 months. The Lancashire Telegraph exclusively broke the news on Wednesday evening.
Alebiosu becomes Rovers' third summer signing and will shortly be joined by Moussa Baradji. The midfielder underwent his examination this afternoon and should be confirmed as a Blackburn player imminently.
Alebiosu will compete with Callum Brittain for a place at right-back, with young Academy products Kristi Montgomery and Leo Duru also in contention.

The 23-year-old came through the Academy ranks at Arsenal before moving to Belgium two years ago. After 18 months playing for Kortrijk, he joined St Mirren on loan in January.
That move was a big success, with the Scottish Premier League side publicly stating their desire to bring him back permanently. However, they conceded that was unlikely with Alebiosu interesting 'bigger clubs'.
It's understood that the defender had interest from Championship teams but an Ewood Park switch was always his preference. That has now become a reality.
