Valerien Ismael must pick a team that can deliver a response as Blackburn Rovers travel to Stoke City needing a reaction.
The nature of Blackburn's 2-1 defeat at Derby County has put more emphasis on a performance but more so a result in the Potteries.
Rovers will be without Augustus Kargbo, who joined Ryan Hedges on a growing injury list which now has eight players on it. Emmanuel Dennis will at least return from suspension.
It would not be a major shock if the former Watford man was thrown straight in for his first Championship start. Rovers are paying a hefty chunk of his wages and need to start seeing something for that investment.
It'll be interesting to see if Ismael sticks with the 3-4-3 they finished the game at Derby with, or stays 4-2-3-1. Either way, Dennis could replace Kargbo on the left.
Yuki Ohashi might drop out on account of fitness. Todd Cantwell or Dion Sanderson will likely replace him, depending on the system.
Otherwise, it might be much of the same, in the hope Sondre Tronstad is fit to go again.
