David Lowe is wary of a Swansea City backlash in the same manner Blackburn Rovers produced at West Brom.

The Swans have sacked Luke Williams this week after a poor run of one win in nine matches. That has seen the looking over their shoulder rather than chasing the top-six, as they were seven weeks ago.

It is typical luck of Rovers to be travelling to South Wales on the back of a change. It could galvanise the Welsh side and makes the visit much trickier than it might have been.

Lowe was mindful of that change in dynamic and insists Rovers will take nothing for granted this weekend.

"It's true, and obviously it's quite uncertain for us really, what type of organisation they're going to put out, offensively and defensively," Lowe said.

"You can do all the analysing you want, but the bottom line is we won't really find out until we actually face them on Saturday really, what type of organisation they'll produce in regards to the team.

"we'll concentrate on ourselves, we'll concentrate on how we play, our organisation in possession, our organisation out of possession, on our set plays, we'll be spot on with that, and then we'll just see what comes ahead of us on Saturday really, and we'll just have to deal with it.

Rovers are close to having almost a fully fit squad again. The weekend is likely to come too soon for Sondre Tronstad and Yuki Ohashi but Hayden Carter made it through 60 minutes for the Under-21s unscathed this week.

The likes of Emmanuel Dennis and Cauley Woodrow have been unused substitutes in the last two games, highlighting the depth of options available to Lowe.

"It's strong to be fair, so I've got a few options on the bench if we need to change things," he said.

"It's really good, they look strong, they're all willing to work for each other, and they're all willing to try and win a football match.

"It's going to be difficult, because obviously as you knew the two before, they've had to change a manager, so what to expect we're not 100% sure, but hopefully if we apply ourselves and play the football that they have been playing throughout the season, we won't be far away.

"Obviously winning football matches better than not really, and that's what we want to keep doing, and then obviously when the people above me think the time is right to bring in the new manager, they will do.

"They've been great for me, Damien, Mike, Paul and Ben Benson, they've been really good, they're open to ideas, they want to work hard, and most of all they want to win football matches.

"My real focus at the moment is obviously focusing on Swansea, preparing the players the best we can, myself and the staff, and hopefully we can go there and get a victory."
