Danny Batth will not be involved again this weekend as Rovers head across the border to take on Swansea.
The defender was forced off with a hamstring issue at West Brom and was not included in the squad against Plymouth last weekend.
Interim boss David Lowe confirmed that Batth will play no part against the Swans but reckons the squad is in a good place.
“We are OK,” he said. “Obviously, we have a few little injury worries and hopefully we will find out about them later today.
“The squad are really up for it, they want to finish the season on a high. Hopefully, if they can finish on a high – with myself or a new manager – we will find ourselves in the play-offs.”
The fixtures have come thick and fast lately but Rovers have had a full week on the training pitch to prepare for Saturday’s fixture.
“It has been good,” Lowe added. “We have been able to get some work into them which is good, especially the guys who haven’t been playing every game.
“Hopefully, they will go to Swansea on Saturday charged up and ready to go. I look forward to seeing them play and hopefully we will have enough in our locker to be able to beat them.”
Rovers head to Wales full of confidence on the back of a couple of pleasing results and performances in the league.
“There is nothing better than winning football matches and that is what we want to keep doing,” said Lowe.
“Obviously, when the people above me think the time is right to bring in the new manager, they will do.
“But our focus at the moment is on Swansea, preparing the players the best we can – myself and the staff – and hopefully we can go there and get a victory.
“(The players) have all been very professional, they have all respected the staff who have come on board to help them out and been a credit to them.
“I am full of respect for them. They have tried to adopt some little changes we have made but, generally, they have been fantastic for most of the season and I can’t see why that would change against Swansea.”
