Blackburn Rovers will welcome Callum Brittain and Todd Cantwell back into their squad this weekend against Millwall.

Brittain has missed the last two games due to illness whilst Cantwell missed the win over Luton Town due to suspension.

Arnor Sigurdsson and Balazs Toth remain out whilst Hayden Carter and Scott Wharton are long-term absentees.

Andi Weimann was a surprise return to the bench against the Hatters but hadn't trained beforehand. Tyrhys Dolan was also an unused substitute due to illness but both have trained this week.

"Callum is back with us after illness, he has trained in the last few days.

"Todd coming back too is a plus. It's good to have them back, we want as many as others. We have good competition for places so to have them back is a bonus.

"Andi didn't train and then went on the bench, that shows his level of determination to be back and part of this group.

"He has trained a few days this week and he'll be part of the squad at the weekend. Ty is fine too, he's coughed his way through the week, he's been under the weather but hasn't missed a day of training. He'll be ready to go too.

"We have four games in 11 days so this squad will be needed and used. That's the most important thing."

Zak Gilsenan and Leo Duru are expected to return from their injury rehabilitation shortly too. The latter has been out with a long-term thigh issue and will be eased back gently.

Eustace said Gilsenan will start back with the under-23s and build his match fitness there before being assessed further.

"Zak is still finishing the end of his rehab, we haven't seen him yet," he explained.

"He is very close to joining back in, not with the first-team but he'll be with the Under-23s, I'd assume. We will see where he is from there.

"Leo (Duru) is finishing off his rehab as well this week and joining back next week."
