Steve Waggott has confirmed Blackburn Rovers will look to bolster their squad in the January transfer window.
The Lancashire Telegraph reported last month that a striker and left-winger high on the priority list for John Eustace's side in the New Year market and the club were expected to be active.
In the latest meeting with the Supporters' Trust, We Are the Rovers, Waggott confirmed the club would be looking to bolster.
In the pre-agreed notes, it states: "SW stated the Club was currently in a good position on the pitch and was financially stable.

"It was generally felt the Club had opportunities to build upon its current first-team form and league position to stay in play-off contention and that it would be looking to strengthen the first-team squad in key positions during the forthcoming winter transfer window in January."
It was again reiterated that Venky's are able to send funds as they desire, providing they deposit the equivalent monies into a bond. Waggott confirmed that the 23/24 accounts for Rovers, set to be signed off before the end of 2024, would reflect that with a confirming statement.
The Rovers CEO also confirmed plans for the Senior Training Centre to be transferred back to club ownership. Venky's London Limited 2, a sister account of the owners, bought the training ground before the loophole was closed to aid Profit and Sustainability rules.
All loans on that transfer have been paid off though rent is being paid by the club to VLL for the use. But the aim is 'to bring the STC back into club ownership as soon as possible and at an appropriate future juncture'.
