John Eustace will have far more options to pick from as Blackburn Rovers return to action against Portsmouth.
The Rovers head coach has Owen Beck, Tyrhys Dolan and Amario Cozier-Duberry available again. All three will be back in the matchday squad for the clash with Pompey.
A morale-boosting win over Cardiff City before the international break gave Rovers the perfect tonic. As a result, Eustace may resist the temptation to make any changes.
Aynsley Pears will be in goal, guarded by the same back five of Callum Brittain, Danny Batth, Dom Hyam and Harry Pickering. Beck was winning the left-back battle until his injury but now may have to assume a place on the bench.
Lewis Travis and Sondre Tronstad will continue their 100 per cent record of starting every league game. Lewis Baker is pushing for a start after his goal-scoring cameo in Wales but would be more likely to play in the forward line.
Ryan Hedges is probably most at risk of dropping out but gives Rovers good balance down the left. So it will likely be Andi Weimann, Todd Cantwell and the Welshman again.
Yuki Ohashi is back from his debut with Japan and should lead the line.
Predicted Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Batth, Hyam, Pickering; Travis, Tronstad; Weimann, Cantwell, Hedges; Ohashi.
