Stanley have parted company with long-serving boss John Coleman, the club has confirmed.
The Reds were beaten 4-0 at Wrexham on Saturday afternoon, slipping to 16th in the League Two table.
Coleman departs the club with "immediate effect" along with assistant Jimmy Bell.
An official statement read: "Accrington Stanley can today confirm that John Coleman and Jimmy Bell have been informed that their contracts are terminated with immediate effect.
"Everyone at the club thanks them for their long-standing service and we wish them all the very best for the future."
Coleman's first spell in charge at Stanley lasted nearly 13 years, overseeing a remarkable rise up the non-league pyramid and guiding the club into the Football League in 2006.
He went on to manage Rochdale, Southport and Sligo Rovers before returning to the club in 2014.
The Reds clinched the League Two title in 2018 and spent five successive seasons in the third tier. However, they were relegated last term following a difficult campaign.
