Jon Dahl Tomasson was tight-lipped on the January transfer window and insisted Blackburn Rovers know what they need this month.
Two players have arrived on loan; Yasin Ayari and Ben Chrisene, but James Hill and Lewis Travis have also left the club. It's been two weeks since Rovers added a fresh face to their squad.
Rovers have rejected several bids from Sam Gallagher whilst Niall Ennis is also of interest to Bolton Wanderers. The club are still pursuing incomings but are waiting on other dominoes to fall to get their top targets.
The Lancashire Telegraph understands that reports linking the club with Lukas Jutkiewicz are wide of the mark. The 34-year-old is not a target for the club despite speculation.

On potential incomings and outgoings, Tomasson was particularly tight-lipped, instead wanting to focus on matters on the pitch.
"Normally, I would like to talk about transfers. Today, I will not talk about transfers," Tomasson said.
"We know the players that I have, I told the club in the summer what was needed. Hopefully, they can manage it.
"Everyone in the club, our fans and me, can't imagine that the club would weaken the squad. I can't imagine that. I know fans will be frustrated that I can't say anything about this, I understand it.
"I think I've said all the things already, what is needed and what I think about the situation.
"We shouldn't weaken the squad. You'd have to talk to the club about that.
"I can't imagine we will weaken the squad before any players come in. I have said what we need and hopefully, the club can do it."
Rovers have conceded the joint most set-pieces in the Championship this season and it is an area Huddersfield will want to exploit on Saturday. Improving the defensive record is the first priority for Tomasson.
He insisted the team have spoken in-depth about defending with more intensity and aggression, ensuring they win their duels.
"Goals change games. In some games, we have started better and then gave a goal away," Tomasson said.
"The momentum of the game can change. It's very disappointing, we prepare and analyse games, and the conclusion is that we have to defend better. We all know it.
"The goals we're conceding aren't because we're outnumbered. It's because we aren't winning the duels. That is part of football.
"You have to win your duels, then play nice football. We have spoken about being more aggressive, spotting danger quicker, reacting quicker in the second and third phases.
"We have been training this, just as we have been before. If you're not the tallest team, you can still jump, can't you? It's important that you jump into the body.
"You have to be tough, mark players and it's important. Even if you're organised and you're not outnumbered, and we're not, you have to do that better."
He added: "We are all extremely disappointed when we lose, you're not sleeping very well, you're thinking about what went wrong and how to improve it," he said.
"The next game is here. I am pleased we have four games on the bounce at home, in this period we can change the momentum with a win.
"Playing at Ewood, we need the fans to help the players. We need the fans to stay behind the club at a difficult time. It's been a financially difficult time.
"They should be frustrated, I am, the players are. If you stick together, even if you're leading 1-0 and it's tough in the last 10 minutes, stick behind the team.
"If you're behind and concede immediately, stay behind the team. We are stronger together and we will celebrate together and that is key. I am sure our fans understand and they will do it."
