Rovers will be in the hat for the Carabao Cup second round draw tonight following their 4-3 victory against Walsall at Ewood Park.

Zak Gilsenan, Niall Ennis, Jake Garrett and John Buckley were all on target against the League Two outfit.

Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side had some joy in the cups last season, reaching the fourth round of the Carabao Cup and the quarter-final of the FA Cup, racking up victories against the likes of West Ham and Leicester along the way.

The game is being broadcast live on Sky Sports Football (channel 403 for viewers in the UK) and the draw is estimated to start around 10:15pm.
