CLITHEROE have made three summer signings as they prepare for the new season.
And Blues chairman Carl Garner is confident the club only needs another one or two players to make a push for promotion.
Left-back Owen Roberts has joined from Leigh RMI, Blackburn-born tough tackling midfielder Liam McManus has signed from Ashton and promising young striker Alex Smith, who was released from Blackpool's youth team, has also been recruited.
Garner said: "On the footballing side, things are looking very good just now. We were able to hold onto all of our players and we've got another three in just now.
"I think all we need is a right winger and we're talking to a couple of players."
