Burnley FC Women will play at Turf Moor for the first time later this month, the club has confirmed.

The Claret women will face Liverpool Feds on Sunday, April 30 (2pm) at the 22,000-seater stadium.

It is the latest milestone for the side following their integration into the football club in February 2021.

Jay Bradford’s side have lost just once in the league this season and could still secure promotion to the Women’s Championship. To do so, they must finish top of the league and then win a play-off final.

An official statement read: “The announcement of the fixture is just one of the positive steps forward that the club has taken in its pursuit to grow the women’s game.

“Earlier in the year following feedback from the Burnley FC fan advisory board, the club has begun integrating the Burnley FC Women social media accounts into the main football club accounts, ensuring that the women’s team content can reach a larger audience.

“This, alongside an innovative partnership with TikTok which has seen all the side’s home league games over the last two seasons streamed live, recently reached one million unique views, meaning that more people than ever before can be a part of the club’s women’s football journey.”

Tickets for the fixture at Turf Moor are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for under-18s. They can be purchased online, over the phone or in person at the ticket office.

The Bob Lord Stand will be open for the game, with refreshments available to purchase in the kiosks.
