KYLE Lafferty looks set to be heading out of Turf Moor after Burnley agreed a cash-plus-player deal with Rangers.

The Clarets are set to receive a £3m fee for the Northern Ireland striker, with a further £250,000 payable on appearances and a sell-on clause that includes 10 per cent of any future profit.

Burnley manager Owen Coyle will also enter into discussions with 25-year-old Rangers midfielder Alan Gow as part of the package.

However, both deals are subject to the players agreeing personal terms with the respective clubs.

Lafferty recently blasted a section of Clarets fans in a newspaper interview he gave to the Belfast Telegraph and claimed he wanted to leave Turf Moor.

Coyle had hoped to be able to sit down with youngster when the squad returned for pre-season training on July 1 in attempt to persuade Lafferty, who is under contract to the Clarets until the summer of 2010, to remain at Turf Moor.

But in recent weeks, Wolves, Celtic and Rangers have maintained their interest with Walter Smith ultimately winning the race for the self-confessed Rangers fan.
