Rovers’ game at Preston North End has been moved for Sky Sports coverage.

Defeat in the FA Cup quarter final last weekend means the game at Deepdale will go ahead as planned on Saturday, April 22.

However, there is a new kick-off time for the game after it was selected by the broadcaster.

It will now take place at 5.30pm to be shown live on Sky Sports.

The fixture is the latest game to be moved by Sky Sports, and means five games next month have now been selected.

That starts with the trip to Huddersfield Town on Monday, April 10 which is now a 12.30pm kick-off.

Rovers face Hull City on Saturday, April 15 (7.45pm), with the Preston game also pushed back to a later kick-off time.

The East Lancashire derby at Ewood Park on Tuesday, April 25 (8pm) has also been selected.

Alongside the Preston announcement, Sky revealed that the game with Coventry City on Wednesday, April 19 (7.45pm) will also be shown live, but the date and kick-off time will remain the same.

Games moved for Sky Sports coverage at this stage of the season are subject to a four-week minimum notice commitment.

Just three weeks are needed for games that take place on the weekend of April 29. Then Rovers will host fellow play-off rivals Luton Town at Ewood Park.

A decision over whether that game will be shown live has to be made by April 7.

Rovers finish the regular season away at Millwall on Monday, May 8 (3pm).
