Rovers have been received their allocation figure, and published ticket prices, for their FA Cup quarter final at Sheffield United later this month.

It was confirmed on Friday that the last eight tie at Bramall Lane would be played on Sunday, March 19 (12noon), with the game to be shown live on ITV.

Rovers have been handed an allocation of 4,700 tickets for the game, priced at £25 for adults. Senior tickets are £20, with Under-18s £12.50 and students £17.50.

They will go on sale to season ticket holders, with 1875 membership, from Wednesday.

That is the first of four sales phases, each receiving 24 hours priority, before going on general sale from next Monday (March 13).

There will be no sales on the day, with the fixture assigned as an all-ticket game.

The club will also subsidise official away travel, with prices reduced to £10.

"As a thank you to the fans for the fantastic support received so far in the competition, the club are subsiding official Away Travel by 50 per cent," the club said in their release.

"Please note, this offer is only valid for supporters travelling on Blackburn Rovers’ official Away Travel service."

It will be a first quarter final in eight years for Rovers, while they last reached a semi-final in 2005/06.

The tie will be decided on the day, with extra time and penalties if required.
