Burnley and Rovers have learned their potential opponents in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Rovers face a trip to Premier League Leicester City if they overcome Birmingham in the fourth-round replay on Tuesday night.

Jon Dahl Tomasson’s meb were held to a 2-2 draw against the Midlands club at Ewood Park over the weekend despite goals from Bradley Dack and Joe Rankin-Costello.

Rovers overcame Norwich City in their third round following a 1-0 victory on the road, with Jack Vale getting the decisive goal that day.

Meanwhile, Burnley will host Fleetwood or Sheffield Wednesday in the fifth round if they make it past Ipswich in the replay.

Nathan Tella and Jay Rodriguez both had chances as the Clarets were held to a goalless draw against their League One opponents at the weekend.

Vincent Kompany’s men beat Bournemouth 4-2 in the third round, with Anass Zaroury and Manuel Benson both bagging braces at the Vitality Stadium. A date for the replay is yet to be confirmed.

The draw was conducted by Jermaine Jenas and Alex Scott live on BBC’s The One Show and the official FA Cup social media channels.

Other interesting ties include the winner of Sheffield United v Wrexham hosting Tottenham and Manchester United facing Derby or West Ham. Meanwhile, Brighton face a trip to Stoke after knocking out holders Liverpool.

Fifth-round ties are currently scheduled to take place during the week commencing Monday, February 27.
