The date for Rovers’ home game with Burnley has been announced.
The second East Lancashire derby of the season will now take place on Sunday, March 19 (12noon) after the agreement of both clubs and Lancashire Police.
The game was scheduled to be played on Saturday, March 18.
It will be the final fixture for both clubs before the March international break
It has yet to be selected for Sky Sports coverage, but that is expected to be announced in due course, as will ticket details and the travelling allocation.
Burnley won the reverse fixture at Turf Moor 3-0 in November.
It will be the first game between the sides at Ewood since the league cup tie in August 2017, and first league meeting since October 2015.
A statement from Rovers read: "Rovers wish to notify supporters that the upcoming East Lancashire derby at home to Burnley has been moved to a new date.
"In agreement with Lancashire Police and both clubs, the Championship fixture, which was due to take place on Saturday March 18, will now be played at Ewood Park on Sunday March 19, kick-off 12 noon.
"Ticketing information will be announced in due course."
