Rovers will have a Saturday 3pm home game for the first time in almost three months after their FA Cup fourth round tie was confirmed.

Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side will host Birmingham City in round four on Saturday, January 28 (3pm).

It comes after Birmingham came from behind to beat Forest Green Rovers 2-1 in their re-arranged round three tie on Tuesday night.

The sides have faced each other in the competition in January 2020, one of four FA Cup ties played between the teams, all of which have gone the way of the Midlands side.

Rovers did however win the league fixture between the sides at Ewood in October, with Sam Gallagher and Adam Wharton on target in a 2-1 win.

Tickets for the cup tie will be priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for Under-18s. The Riverside Stand won't be open for the fixture.

Rovers booked their place in round four for the first time since 2017 with victory over Norwich City earlier this month.

The winner will move into round five which would be played on Wednesday, March 1.

Rovers last had a Saturday 3pm game way back on November 5 when they beat Huddersfield Town 1-0.

They will end that wait this weekend when they travel to Bristol City and will have another to end the month after details of the Birmingham tie were published.

As a result of Rovers qualifying for the fourth round, their scheduled Championship game with Blackpool has been forced to move.

That will now take place on Tuesday, February 21 (7.45pm) at Ewood Park.
