Sam Gallagher will be back available for Rovers’ visit of Millwall this weekend.

Gallagher has made six appearances this season but hasn’t featured since a late appearance in the Carabao Cup win at Bradford City on August 23, missing five matches in all with a muscle problem.

The 27-year-old, who got off the mark with his goal in the win over West Bromwich Albion, will be available again this weekend in a boost to Jon Dahl Tomasson’s attacking options.

Gallagher’s return ensures that Rovers will have a fully-fit squad, with Callum Brittain having returned from his injury lay-off in the defeat at Luton Town before the international break.

Deadline day signing Clinton Mola was unavailable to face Luton but is available once again, though Tomasson confirmed the Stuttgart loanee will be in action for the Under-21s against Manchester United on Saturday, as will Jack Vale.

Mola made his debut as a 90th minute substitute in the win over Watford following his season-long arrival.

Ben Brereton arrived back in good time following his international commitments with Chile, having only played 20 minutes of their 2-2 draw with Qatar on Tuesday, a game which was played in Austria.

"I think it is the first time we have had a full fit group," Tomasson said. "It was great to see Clinton (Mola) as well, he got some minutes in our internal game.

"He will play against Manchester United in the Under-21s. Hopefully, we can get him going and get him fit.

"We enjoyed the international break, we had some days off but also working hard on the training ground to get everyone to a reasonable standard (fitness) as well.

"We worked on tactical things as well and it was great to see the players improving with and without the ball.

"I was especially happy to see Clinton because he is a new player for us of course. He had an issue but that's gone now.

"Everyone else is fine, Sam Barnes is injured but the rest are ready to rumble in that way. Everyone is up to a better standard because we need to use the squad with a lot of games in a short period.

"It's been a while with Sam (Gallagher) but I can start him. He has been out for a bit but that's why we have tried to manage this group in this period."
