HE grew up supporting Chelsea but still has a special affection for Manchester United, so which of his two former clubs does Mark Hughes believe will win the Premier League title?
"I still think United are in pole position," said the Rovers boss.
"It possibly might have been different if they hadn't got through to the Champions League final, but I think the fact that they have done will give them a huge boost in confidence and I think they will get the job done now.
"Yes, they drew against us and they got beaten by Chelsea. If they had been knocked out at the semi-finals stage of the Champions League then probably you might think there was a chance they would miss out.
"But the confidence they will get from winning against Barcelona will take them over the line I think."
Meanwhile, Hughes is likely to be a man in demand with both Sky and ITV likely to want him as a pundit when United and Chelsea go head-to-head in the Champions League final later this month.
