MARK Hughes last night insisted David Bentley is going nowhere this summer following fresh speculation linking him with moves to Liverpool and Chelsea.
The Blackburn boss said: "We don't have to sell David Bentley and we aren't looking to sell him, and that's it.
"I've no idea where the speculation comes from, but I could take an educated guess at it.
"The speculation happens every year with our better players, but if you look back, not many have ultimately been allowed to go.
"That's because we know we will be weakened as a consequence.
"We are not looking to sell any of our major players this summer, and I don't expect it to happen.
"The case with Craig Bellamy was something that we couldn't do anything about.
"If there hadn't been a clause in his contract, he would possibly still be here.
"But when we have a strong hand and there is no onus on us to generate cash, then we don't have to do it at the end of the day."
