EAST Lancashire drivers carried off a share of the silverware at Stockport Motor Club's SMC Stages.
Top finisher was Burnley's Peter Tattersall and Stephen Riley (Ford Escort) who claimed fourth overall, first in class and first two-wheel-drive car - one of their best-ever results.
Pendle DMC's James Howard and Charlie Woodward made it into the top ten with ninth overall in their Subaru Impreza.
Dominic and Jason McTear brought their Peugeot 205 GTi home second in class and 21st.
Steve Johnson, defending his SD34 title, finished third in class despite taking three stage maximums when the gearbox broke on his Nissan Micra.
Forced to drive the last three tests using third gear only, Johnson and co-driver Steve Butler still came home 30th overall.
Held at Weeton army camp, near Blackpool and sponsored by Legend Fires of Blackburn, the rally was won by Howard Chopping and Jonathan Turnbull in a Subaru Impreza.
