Blackburn Rovers have confirmed that they have lodged an appeal after they were charged with failing to control their players during the recent win at Newcastle.
The club have requested a personal hearing and are now waiting for a date from the Football Association.
The charge relates to the incident involving Morten Gamst Pedersen and Newcastle's Habib Beye.
