Burnley have completed the signing of Belgian Under-21 international Anass Zaroury from Charleroi.

The 21-year-old wideman has put pen to paper over a four-year deal and arrives for an undisclosed fee.

Zaroury broke into the first-team picture at Lommel in 2019 before making the move to Charleroi last year.

He has managed 14 goals in 77 appearances and has represented his country from Under-17 level to Under-21 level.

“I’m very happy, very excited. It’s the first time I have moved to another country to play football,” he told the club’s website.

“The project here is clear and I can’t wait to get started here now.”

Zaroury becomes the Clarets’ 14th signing of the summer as the club aims to bounce back from last season’s relegation from the Premier League.

Vincent Kompany added: “Anass is an exciting young talent. He's a player that can run and work hard for the team, whilst carrying great skill and goal threat.

“We're all delighted to welcome here at Burnley Football Club.”

Burnley are back in Championship action tonight as they welcome Millwall to Turf Moor (KO 7:45pm).

Kompany’s men enter the game in high spirits following a convincing 5-1 victory against North West neighbours Wigan Athletic.
