Burnley are back in Championship action tonight as they welcome Hull City to Turf Moor (KO 7:45pm).
The Clarets enter the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Watford, with Tom Cleverley getting the decisive goal on the stroke of half-time.
Team news
Jack Cork and Jay Rodriguez are both pushing for starting spots. Cork came on at half-time against Watford, while Rodriguez returned from injury for the final half hour.
Southampton loanee Nathan Tella is another who will hope for a starting position after making his debut off the bench against the Hornets.
But Scott Twine, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Kevin Long and Ashley Westwood are unavailable due to injury.
As for the visitors, Jean Michael Seri is a doubt and Greg Docherty, Tyler Smith, Brandon Fleming and James Scott could all remain sidelined.
Opposition lowdown
Hull brought in several fresh faces during the summer, including Allahyar Sayyadmanesh and Dogukan Sinik.
Shota Arveladze’s side have made a strong start to the new campaign, picking up seven points from their opening three league matches.
The Tigers enter the game on the back of a 2-1 win against Norwich City thanks to a brace from Oscar Estupinan.
Head-to-head
Burnley have faced the Tigers 64 times in their history, with a record of 31 wins, 13 draws and 20 defeats.
The points were shared when the sides last met in February 2017, with Michael Keane cancelling out Tom Huddlestone’s opener.
1-1 was also the scoreline when the Yorkshire club last made the journey to Turf Moor, with Steven Defour getting on the scoresheet that day.
