Jon Dahl Tomasson has taken training for the first time after his work permit was approved.
Tomasson was appointed as Rovers’ new head coach last Tuesday, pending the approval of his work permit.
Performance director Ben Rosen has been putting the players through their paces in recent days, but with the players handed a day off on Wednesday, Tomasson has been involved in the training sessions for the first time today.
That follows his work permit approval which will now allow him to lead training, and be involved in all aspects of the club.

Tomasson has used the intervening period to meet with staff, in all areas of the club, as well as hold discussions with director of football Gregg Broughton.
Tomasson’s work permit has arrived ahead of the squad’s trip to Portugal, with the players and staff to spend time away from their Brockhall training base.
Assistant head coach Remy Reijnierse should receive his work permit within the next 24 hours.
There will be a secondary trip to Scotland in mid-July which will take in friendlies at Dundee and Celtic.
