Burnley kick off the 2022/23 Championship season with a trip to Huddersfield Town on Friday, July 29.

It will be the Clarets’ first competitive fixture under new boss Vincent Kompany following Sean Dyche’s departure last season.

The first East Lancashire derby of the season takes place on Saturday, November 12 at Turf Moor and will be followed by a one-month international break to accommodate the World Cup in Qatar. The reverse fixture at Ewood Park is set for Saturday, March 18.

Burnley will return from the break with a trip to the capital to face Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, December 10.

The Clarets welcome Birmingham City to Turf Moor on Boxing Day before heading to Swansea City on New Year’s Day.

Kompany’s men head to Middlesbrough on Friday, April 7 before hosting Sheffield United three days later over the Easter weekend.

And Burnley wrap up the season with a home fixture against Cardiff City on Saturday, May 6.
