Rovers have announced that solicitors firm Watson Ramsbottom will continue their long-term partnership with the club.

The East Lancashire-based law firmwill remain as Rovers’ back of shirt sponsor for the next three years and as Rovers Ladies’ principal shirt sponsor for a fifth successive season.

It follows the announcement of Totally Wicked as Rovers’ new principal sponsor following the cancellation of the deal with Recoverite Compression in January.

Watson Ramsbottom were first a corporate partner of the club in July 2018 and that relationship has continued for at least another season.

Elton Ashworth, Managing Director of Watson Ramsbottom, said: “I’m delighted to continue our association with the club that has always been a big part of my life.

“From my first game aged seven in the Nuttall Street Stand with my Grandad, to winning schools cup finals on Ewood in the 80s, onto raucous away trips in my teens, then working in the Hospitality department at Ewood for several years, before the family days out we now enjoy home and away.

“Just as it’s an exciting time for Rovers with the appointment of the new head coach, Jon Dahl Tomasson, it’s an exciting time for Watson Ramsbottom as we expand our practice into the Ribble Valley, Pendle, Chorley and as we continue to establish our practice over the border in Yorkshire.”

Watson Ramsbottom’s logo will again be seen on back of all first team and replica home, away and third shirts, which will be officially unveiled by the club early next month.

Rovers’ Head of Commercial, Paul Fielder, added: “We are delighted to continue our long and fruitful relationship with Elton and the team at Watson Ramsbottom, and we thank them for their continued support.

“Nurturing close links with valued partners within the local business community remains a key facet of our ongoing commercial strategy and it’s fantastic that Watson Ramsbottom continue to see the value that the football club can bring to their brand, whilst also generating vital revenue for the club.”
