Rovers have extended their ‘loyalty deadline’ for season ticket sales.

Previous season ticket holders had until Saturday, June 4 to renew at the cheapest possible price – but that has now been extended to Saturday, June 11.

Rovers opted to freeze season ticket prices for fans looking to renew, set at £399 in the lower sections of Ewood Park.

There were increased prices in the Jack Walker Upper stand, and for those who weren’t season ticket holders in 2021/22.

With Thursday and Friday of this week being bank holidays, Rovers have taken the decision to push back the deadline, giving fans a further seven days to renew at the cheapest available price.

The club are yet to comment on how many season tickets have been sold.

Around 7,500 were sold for 2021/22, though a bumper sale of half season tickets, their most since relegation from the Premier League, and other ticketing offers took that figure towards 8,500.

Rovers twice had crowds of below 10,000, for midweek wins over Hull City and Peterborough United, though ticket offers for matches against Sheffield United and Bournemouth were well received, the latter being the highest Ewood Park crowd since the final day of the League One season against Oxford United.
