Rovers will unveil their new home shirt ahead of the first friendly in July.

The club have published release dates for all three shirts for the 2022/23 season which will again be supplied by Macron.

The blue and white home shirt will be unveiled on the week commencing July 4, prior to the opening friendly at Accrington Stanley which is scheduled for Saturday, July 9.

The new away shirt will then be unveiled ahead of the friendly at Celtic which will take place on Saturday, July 16.

In the week commencing July 18, the new third shirt will be made public, with the new season getting under way on July 30.

The new designs have been in place for some time, with Macron making a popular start to their time as shirt manufacturer having replaced Umbro last season.

Delays to shipping last season saw supporters face a wait to get their hands on the new kit, but Rovers have already taken arrival of new shirts.

A club statement read: “Rovers have now taken delivery of 1,000 retail items of both shirts, which will go on sale in the Roverstore and online in early July.

“A bulk delivery of the remaining stock is expected to arrive at Ewood Park in mid-July, with pre-orders to be taken once the initial provision has sold out.”

The club is currently running a 25 per cent discount sale on all 2020/21 Macon kit and training wear at the Roverstore.
