JED Wallace is out of contract this summer and has been linked with a move to Turf Moor, but the Millwall winger is now reportedly “very close” to a move overseas.

Wallace is set to join Turkish giants Besiktas once his current deal expires, according to Turkish news outlet Fotomac.

Former West Brom and Barnsley boss Valerian Ismael is now in charge at Vodafone Park and is said to be keen on the 28-year-old.

Wallace joined Millwall on a permanent deal in the summer of 2017 and has gone on to make over 250 appearances for the club.

The winger has impressed for the Lions this season, getting six goals and 11 assists in 36 league appearances.

He has also been linked with Watford, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough in recent weeks.

Burnley are currently four points behind 17th-placed Everton as they bid to maintain their Premier League status.

The Clarets are back in action tonight as they welcome Ralph Hasenhuttl's Southampton to Turf Moor (KO 7:45pm).

Under-23s boss Mike Jackson will again take charge of the side as the club continues its search for Sean Dyche’s successor.

Middlesbrough boss Chris Wilder and Slaven Bilic have both been linked with a move to Turf Moor over the past few days.
