BURNLEY will be aiming to return to winning ways when they head to the capital to take on West Ham (KO 2:15pm).

The Clarets suffered a 2-0 defeat at relegation rivals Norwich in their last outing, which proved to be Sean Dyche’s final game in charge.

Under-23s boss Mike Jackson will manage the side against the Hammers, with assistance from Paul Jenkins, Connor King and Ben Mee.

Team news

Captain Ben Mee remains sidelined by a knee problem and will be in the dugout to assist caretaker boss Mike Jackson.

Erik Pieters (knee) and Johann Berg Gudmundsson (calf) are also still out of action.

Meanwhile, the hosts are likely to be without Kurt Zouma after the defender was forced off with an ankle issue against Brentford last weekend.

Aaron Cresswell comes back into contention after serving a ban but Angelo Ogbonna is still unavailable.

Opposition lowdown

The Hammers are currently sixth in the Premier League table – six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, who have played a game fewer.

David Moyes’ men enter the game on the back of an impressive 3-0 win at Lyon in the Europa League quarter-final second leg.

Burnley have faced West Ham 93 times in their history, with a record of 35 wins, 19 draws and 29 defeats.

The Clarets suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat when the sides last met at the London Stadium, with Michail Antonio getting the decisive goal.

Last meeting

The points were shared when the sides met earlier this season following a goalless draw at Turf Moor.

Chris Wood and Jay Rodriguez both went close for the Clarets, who were unable to break the deadlock.

Nick Pope made a couple of fine stops to deny Issa Diop and Said Benrahma at the other end, while Craig Dawson also had a penalty appeal turned down.
