BURNLEY are plotting a move for Millwall winger Jed Wallace in the summer, according to reports.

Wallace’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season and it seems likely he will leave the Den.

The Clarets are keen to bring him to Turf Moor regardless of what division they are playing in, according to Football League World.

The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Nottingham Forest last month before suffering a quad injury.

Wallace has impressed for Millwall this season, getting five goals and seven assists in 26 appearances for the Lions.

He would bolster Sean Dyche's wing options, with Aaron Lennon's contract set to expire in the summer.

Burnley made just one signing in the January window, landing Dutch international Wout Weghorst from Wolfsburg.

The forward was brought in to replace Chris Wood, who joined relegation rivals Newcastle in a £25 million move.

The Clarets are back in action on Saturday afternoon as they head to the south coast to face Brighton (KO 3pm).

Dyche's men sit at the foot of the Premier League table - seven points from safety, despite having played two games fewer than most of the teams around them.
