Tony Mowbray won’t be at Bradford City for today’s friendly as he self-isolates with his family.
Rovers will play their third friendly of pre-season at Valley Parade this afternoon, with assistant Mark Venus set to take charge of the team.
A club statement read: “Rovers boss Tony Mowbray will not be at today's pre-season friendly vs Bradford City as he is currently isolating with his family in accordance with Government Covid-19 guidelines.
“Assistant manager Mark Venus will take charge of the team for today's game.”
Up to 4,000 home supporters are expected at today’s game, with the Bantams using the clash as the second of two successive trial matches ahead of the new season.
There will also be no live stream of the game in which Rovers will wear their new home shirt.
