Burnley stepped up their pre-season preparations with wins over Salford City and Morecambe at the Barnfield Training Centre.
Josh Brownhill and Jay Rodriguez both scored twice as the Clarets ran out 4-0 winners over League Two Salford.
Nathan Collins made his first appearance in a Burnley shirt after joining from Stoke City, while Phil Bardsley managed 90 minutes after recovering from hernia surgery.
Meanwhile, Ashley Barnes and Johann Berg Gudmundsson were on target as Sean Dyche’s men beat League One Morecambe 2-1 in the adjacent fixture.
The Clarets were without Chris Wood - who is on Olympic duty with New Zealand - and Matej Vydra, who is yet to return to training after reaching the quarter-finals of the European Championships with the Czech Republic.
In their absence, young strikers Lewis Richardson and Rob Harker were given opportunities in the first team.
Burnley head to Oldham Athletic on Saturday afternoon – their first friendly in front of supporters this season.
Supporters will be able to pay on the day at Boundary Park, with tickets priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under 18s and over 65s.
The Clarets also have friendlies against Blackpool and Nottingham Forest coming up as they prepare for a sixth successive season in the top-flight.
