Bolton Wanderers have put tickets on sale for their forthcoming pre-season friendly against Rovers next weekend.

Adult tickets are priced at £10 and Over-65s and Under-18s are priced at £5 each.

The game will be the last dress rehearsal for both sides ahead of the new EFL season which gets under way on August 7.

Wanderers will be opening all lower tiers and the Bolton Kia West Stand Upper for the match.

Rovers have been allocated 1,500 tickets for the game and will be putting them on sale shortly.

The club announced on Monday ticket details for the pre-season friendly with Leeds United on Wednesday, July 28 (7.30pm), the first time Ewood Park has opened its doors to supporters since February 2020.

Around 250 Rovers fans took the opportunity to watch their side in action at AFC Fylde earlier this month, but this weekend’s friendly at Bradford City will be home fans only.

However, with an easing of the coronavirus restrictions, Bolton will permit away supporters to the game, Rovers’ final close season match before their Championship season gets under way with the visit of Swansea City on Saturday, August 7.

A specially created socially distanced area has been crated in block AL1 of the West Stadn Lower. If supporters wish to sit in that area they must contact the ticket office directly on 01204 328 888.

Car parking is available on the day, priced at £5 on a cash-only basis.

Wanderers are also encouraging supporters to take a lateral flow Covid test 24 to 48 hours before the game. Should the test prove positive, fans are asked to follow government guidelines, take a PCR test and self-isolate. Anyone exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms are asked not to attend the game.

Although the use of face masks is no longer mandatory, Wanderers are encouraging all supporters to wear them in the concourse and when visiting the toilets.

The game will be the first played at the UniBol since February 29, 2020, when Bolton fought out a 0-0 draw with Accrington Stanley.
